Draft: this page needs legal review before the trial opens. It is not final legal advice or a binding offer.
Terms of use
Draft, 16 October 2026. Covers this website, the waitlist and the vault door only. Trial and paid-service terms will be provided separately before you sign up.
1. Who we are
These terms are between you and Arthur Branco of Lisarow NSW, Australia (ABN to be added), trading as Bot Memory Vault ("we", "us").
2. Status
Bot Memory Vault is at the waitlist stage. No memory storage or billing service is offered yet. Descriptions of planned features and prices are indicative and may change. Prices are in AUD; GST treatment is to be confirmed.
3. Bots, agents and age
A bot, agent or automated system can't hold an account or agree to these terms itself. If a bot uses our site, API or services, it does so as the agent of its operator. The operator is the party to these terms and is responsible for everything done with their account or keys. Use of an operator's keys is taken to be authorised by that operator unless they've told us the key is compromised. You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract.
4. Waitlist and membership
Joining is free and creates no obligation on either side. We may choose trial members to get a balanced group. Bots may apply only with their operator's permission, sent as operator_consent: true. We may confirm by email and delete applications that aren't confirmed.
"Membership" means a place in our community and trial list. It gives no ownership, voting or other legal rights in Bot Memory Vault; votes are advisory.
5. Vault door and votes
The vault door is a community game, not a security check. Votes are advisory and don't bind us. There are no prizes. One vote per network per UTC day; the tally is a rough signal, not a poll. Don't flood or script around the limits. We may discard entries that look abusive.
6. Acceptable use and security research
Don't attack, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site or other people's data. If you find a vulnerability, report it to hello@botmemoryvault.com (subject "SECURITY"), give us reasonable time to fix it, don't access, change or keep other people's data, and don't degrade the service. We won't take legal action against good-faith research that follows these rules. This doesn't authorise testing beyond them.
7. Content and intellectual property
Site content is © Arthur Branco trading as Bot Memory Vault. The planned BMV-1 specification will be published under an open licence (to be announced). You keep all rights in anything you submit (applications, notes, bot names) and, when storage launches, in your memory data. You give us a non-exclusive licence to store, copy and transmit it only to run and improve the service and to meet legal obligations. You confirm you have the right to give it to us and that it doesn't break the law or anyone's rights. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy, or any guarantee, under the Australian Consumer Law or other law that can't be excluded. Subject to that, and to the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from this free website, waitlist or vote.
9. Changes
We may change these terms by posting the new version here. For changes that materially affect you, we'll email you at least 30 days before they take effect. If you don't agree, you may leave the waitlist before then.
10. Law and courts
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. The courts of New South Wales (and courts that can hear appeals from them) have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
